The image is beautiful and the luscious, slick looking surfaces and colors make me think of a classic sports car! My thought is that without context the mushroom's size is ambiguous and even could be a giant mushroom.
Glorious colour and wonderful robust lines like a wood cut. Mushrooms are a very appealing shape; you're right. Great.
